One of my biggest goals for this semester is to work more on my throwing. I want to be able to make my pieces more centered, and thinner. A lot of my thorn pieces from last semester are very bulky and crooked, so I want to avoid that going forward. I plan on doing this by making sure my arms are secured into my thighs, and I am using all of my force to get the clay centered. I also hope to have some more success with the glazing process, because last semester most of my mid-fire glazes did not turn out how I had hoped. I plan on doing this by using more glaze, especially more oatmeal.
